What best practice looks like
If you or your team work near muddy banks, wade into rivers or access sites by boat and other watercraft, then water safety training is essential. Our courses are built around the reality of fieldwork: practical, hands-on, and focused on the specific risks of working in natural water environments, whether you're a commercial consultancy, a public body, or a conservation charity relying on volunteers.

The level of risk usually determines which level of training is required by your team

Note: This does not include coastal work, carrying paying passengers and navigable waters. This would come under the commercial endorsements system.
How to book
Most of our courses run as open sessions, so you can book individual team members onto a scheduled date at one of our training locations or online. Or contact us if you need help.
If you need to train a whole team, especially across more than one course, we can put together a bespoke programme instead. We'll come to you, or you can come to us, and we'll build the training around your team's schedule and the combination of courses they actually need.
Open courses
Book individual places on scheduled Powerboat, First Aid or Water Safety training.
Bespoke team training
Send a whole team on one or more courses, delivered at your site or ours, built around what they need.

What customers say
All team members reported back how much they enjoyed the course and how much they learnt. All felt the training will now support positive health and safety practice when working around inland water.
Training was above my expectations. It was a really friendly environment, no pressure, everything was explained clearly and if we had any questions the answers were given immediately.
