Course overview
The most popular course within the RYA Powerboat Scheme, the Powerboat Level 2 is the practical starting point for anyone who wants to drive a powerboat safely and confidently. Spread across two days, this course introduces students to practical skills and essential theory, including navigation, passage planning, and collision regulations. Completion also qualifies you to apply for the International Certificate of Competence (ICC).

Prerequisites

What you’ll achieve
RYA Powerboat Level 2 certificate. Able to safely drive and manoeuvre a powerboat up to 10 metres in daylight. Qualifies you to apply for the International Certificate of Competence (ICC).
