A requirement for the RYA commercial endorsement.
Course overview
A compulsory online course for all new and revalidating RYA Commercial Endorsement holders. Covers the legislation applicable to those working on small commercial vessels — SOLAS, COSWoP, MARPOL and flag state obligations.
Course duration: Study online at your own pace
What you’ll learn
- SOLAS — Safety of Life at Sea
- COSWoP — Code of Safe Working Practices
- MARPOL — marine pollution regulations
- Flag state and port state obligations
- Duty of care to crew, passengers and other water users
Prerequisites
- Required for RYA Commercial Endorsement. Complete alongside or after your powerboat qualification.
- Minimum age: None

RYA PPR certificate. Required for RYA Commercial Endorsement.
